Rabbit Tracks Baby Blanket, Free Crochet Pattern
Even a complete beginner would be able to make this blanket! If you know how to make chains, single crochets, double crochets, and slip stitches, you are good to go!

Skill Level: Beginner
Finished Measurements: approximately 30 by 30 inches
Materials:
US hook size G/6 (4.25 mm)
Light worsted 100% acrylic yarn, about 1000 yards (I used Snuggly Wuggly by Loops & Threads)
Gauge: not important
Abbreviations:
ch chain
sc single crochet
sl st slip stich
dc double crochet
* * instructions between asterisks should be repeated as many times as there are stitches to accommodate them.
Ch 129 loosely (multiple of 10, plus 9)
Row 1: dc in 4th ch from hook (skipped 3 ch count as 1s dc), dc in each ch across. (127 dc)
Rows 2: ch 3, turn (counts as 1st dc here and throughout), dc in each dc across. (127 dc)
Row 3: ch 3, turn, dc in next 6 dc, *ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next 7 dc* across.
Row 4: ch 3, turn, dc in next 6 dc, *dc in next ch-1, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next ch-1, dc in next 7 dc* across.
Row 5: ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and each ch-1 across. (127 dc)
Row 6: ch 3, turn, dc in each dc across. (127 dc)
Row 7: ch 3, turn, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc, *dc in next 7 dc, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc* across to last 2 dc, dc in last 2 dc.
Row 8: ch 3, turn, dc in next dc, dc in next ch-1, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next ch-1, *dc in next 7 dc, dc in next ch-1, ch 1, skip next dc, dc in next ch-1* across to last 2 dc, dc in last 2 dc.
Row 9: ch 3, turn, dc in each dc and each ch-1 across. (127 dc)
Repeat Rows 2-9 for the pattern until the blanket measures about 29 inches long. Make sure to end with two rows of dc.
Trim:
Ch 1, turn; working in last row: sc in each dc across to last dc, 3 sc in last dc (corner space).
Continue crocheting in end of rows: make 2 sc in each end of rows, 3 sc in corner space.
Continue crocheting into the original chain: sc in each ch, 3 sc in corner space.
Continue crocheting in end of rows: make 2 sc in each end of rows, 3 sc in corner space. Join round with sl st.
Make one more round of sc around, making 3 sc in corner spaces. Join.
Fasten off.
